Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper chopped
  • 2-3 stalks celery chopped
  • 3/4 tsp creole seasoning
  • 1 can of cream of celery
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese cubed
  • 3 1/2 cups No Yolk Extra Broad noodles

Instructions

  • In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook noodles until done.
  • While noodles cook, brown ground beef with onions, bell pepper, and celery. Season with creole seasoning while browning.
  • Add in cream of celery and cream of mushroom and stir. Next, add in cubed cheese and stir until melted cooking over medium heat.
  • Stir in drained noodles. Taste and season if necessary.

  • 1 pound lean hamburger meat
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 2 cups beef broth or water
  • 1 10 oz can Rotel tomatoes and green chilies (or petite diced tomatoes)
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • FOR THE CHEESE SAUCE:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Brown and drain hamburger meat. Stir in taco seasoning, Rotel, beef broth, and macaroni. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and cover pan. Simmer 12-14 mins until macaroni is tender.
